QUILT VISIONS 2010 is a juried exhibition of quilts celebrating the art of the quilt. Jurors will select the quilts from digital images of work submitted for consideration. Preliminary selection will be finalized when the quilts are received for photography. A full color catalog of the exhibition will be published. Cash recognition awards will be presented.
Jason Busch is the Curator of Decorative Arts at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds an MA from the Winterthur Program at the University of Delaware.
Linda Colsh is an American artist residing in Everberg, Belgium since 1990. She is widely collected and published. She has had work in several Quilt Visions exhibitions. Linda currently serves on the Board of Directors of Studio Art Quilt Associates having been its first European Representative.
Penny McMorris has extensive experience as an art curator. In 1976 she curated one of the first contemporary quilt shows in the United States. She is co-author of The Art Quilt, the first book focusing on quilt design development. She helped form the contemporary quilt collections of Ardis and Robert James, now part of the International Quilt Study Group Collection and that of John Walsh III.
