Quilt Visions

The Oceanside Museum of Art is a cultural resource for Oceanside and Northern San Diego county. It is the realization of a dream; a privately funded community center for the presentation and appreciation of art. Through its exhibitions and programs, OMA strives to help visitors gain a better understanding and enjoyment of the arts by celebrating art in the community and making it a part of everyday life.

Rather than dedicating itself to one type of art, the museum presents a wide variety of regional, local, national, and international arts, as well as ethnic arts of cultures represented in the community. This focus on diversity in the visual arts makes the museum mission unique.
