NTC Promenade

San Diego’s Newest Outdoor Playground for Children, Families and Events

NTC LEGACY PLAZAS
Luce Court
  • San Diego National Bank Legacy Plaza in John Paul Jones Court
  • Eliot and Doris Alport Legacy Plaza in Lawrence Court
  • Legacy Plaza at Luce Court
  • HISTORIC ROSE GARDEN
  • LUCE COURT

Among the many new landmarks and gathering places at NTC Promenade are the three new Legacy Plazas and Luce Court, distinctly in the heart of the historic district. When complete, NTC Promenade will include 28 total acres of open green space, a three-quarter-mile-long fully landscaped pedestrian promenade, a central plaza complimented with flowering plantings, trees and a large decorative fountain. Luce Court can accommodate approximately 4,000 people for an outdoor event.

“ With these new plazas and outdoor spaces, we are creating new pedestrian walkways and gathering places for sculptures, festivals, performances and dozens of outdoor activities in a park-like setting, “ said Walter Heiberg, Senior Vice President, The Corky McMillin Companies and Project Manager of Liberty Station. “Our walking Promenade through the center of Liberty Station will connect both ends of this former military base with a continuous greenbelt, fountains and park benches. “

Visitors will soon be able to stroll down the Promenade and be inspired by thousands of names on personalized NTC Bricks placed in by loved ones to honor those who served and by those who support NTC’s new mission as a Center for Innovation and Creativity.
