History and a Master’s in Museum Studies and Exhibition Design from California State University at Fullerton. She served as the
Gallery Director at Saddleback College for five years and as professor of Art History and Art Appreciation at Saddleback and Fullerton College prior to joining the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Office staff in 1999. She has curated or organized more than seventy exhibitions and is a frequent guest juror for exhibitions in Southern California. Some of her curated exhibitions include “Jean Lowe: Library,” “Tom Wudl: You’ve Got to Be Kidding!,” “Beasts and Bones: The Cartonería of the Linares Family,” “Picking up the Pieces: Contemporary Collage and Construction,” “Kenneth Capps: Metered,” and “Natural Connections: Joanne Hayakawa and Gail Roberts.”

Kristin Lewis has been the artist/owner of YOFI Limited Edition Textiles, a business that specializes in creating mono printed scarves for the past fourteen years. The scarves have been sold in museum stores, galleries and clothing boutiques throughout the country. Prior to starting her business, she printed original interior and apparel fabrics, worked as a custom dyer, and was a freelance costume designer. Kristin serves on the executive board of the Surface Design Association, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and design of textiles.

Angela Moll holds a Ph.D. in Spanish literature from UC Berkeley. In 2000, she left a successful but too technical career in digital libraries and web design to devote herself full-time to her studio art. Her work ranges from wearable art to quilts, using her own screen printed and painted fabrics. Her background includes studies on western 20th century painting, Chinese Calligraphic brushwork, medieval book arts and family sewing traditions. She exhibits her work at quilt shows nationally from California to Georgia as well as internationally and at other renowned fiber art venues.
